  • A way of working with your nervous system to increase resilience and capacity to enjoy the present. We’ll invite your body in as a partner and part of the conversation. By slowing down and noticing things together, overwhelm and trauma can be more easily integrated, leaving more space, choice and ability to be in the present moment. This work is done clothed, may or may not involve touch, and can happen in-person, or virtually.

Julia Taylor (she/they) is a queer, white, somatic bodyworker, parent and co-director of Threshold.  Their aim is to create a safe container for folks wanting to engage with the instinctual wilderness of the body for nervous system regulation, relief from symptoms, and intimacy with self and community. Through one-on-one bodywork sessions and group classes, Julia helps build on your existing resources and name new ones as they arise. She brings a 20 year study of anatomy, ability to interact with multiple systems in your body at once, and a genuine desire to connect to all of her work. She is a PA licensed massage therapist since 2008, founded Threshold Wellness in 2013, and has a bachelor of fine arts. Julia's bodywork education has been with Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Visceral Manipulation, Alignment Yoga, Myofascial Release, and Sage Hayes. Their work welcomes all body types, abilities, and genders and is trauma informed.
